The face behind the flavor

Meet Droopy D.

Part security guard. Part troublemaker. All bulldog—and 100% family.

Droopy D’s bulldog mascot

A pack that started it all

Every great market needs somebody watching over it.

At Droopy D’s Fresh Market, that somebody is Droopy D.

Droopy D was inspired by owner Drew’s two English bulldogs, Taz and Beige—two dogs with completely different personalities but the same loyalty and love for their family.

Taz is the curious one.

He’s playful, a little rambunctious, and has a habit of getting into things whenever he thinks nobody is watching. He has his gentle moments and listens pretty well—at least by bulldog standards. But there’s one thing Taz doesn’t play about: the dark.

When the lights go out, all that toughness suddenly becomes a little questionable.

Then there’s Beige.

Beige marches to the beat of his own drum. He’s a merle English bulldog with a beautiful coat—and he knows it. Beige would sometimes rather turn going outside into playtime than listen to what he’s being told. If Beige has his own plan, chances are everybody else is going to have to wait.

Better together

Put those two personalities together and you get Droopy D.

Always on duty

The official Seafood Security Chief.

Droopy D takes his job at Droopy D’s Fresh Market very seriously. His job is to make sure the crabs are accounted for, the shrimp are protected, the smoked mullet is secure, and nobody messes with Smooth Fred’s Awesome Garlic Sauce.

There’s only one problem: Droopy D loves seafood too.

So whenever something goes missing, he’s usually the first one investigating…and sometimes the main suspect.

“I was just checking the quality.”— Droopy D

That’s Droopy D

Fresh seafood. Local flavor. Better together.

A little security, a little trouble, and a big heart for the families and community Droopy D’s Fresh Market serves.
